GDPR, or General Data Protection Regulation, came into effect on 25th May 2018 and, at ESP Recruitment, we wanted to share how we prepared for GDPR, particularly as we’re coming up to its one year anniversary.

In May 2018, the Data Protection Act will be replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). A key change is enhanced accountability for organisations that handle personal data. One of these accountabilities is the requirement of public authorities to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO), including all maintained schools and academies.

Being invited for interview means one thing, the interviewer thinks you are suitable for the job and the interview is your opportunity to prove this over the other candidates.
