Job Description

Working on behalf of a leading art and design college in South London we are recruiting to a fixed term full time contract to start ASAP for seven months.

Your duties will include acting as the first point of contact for future and existing students and academic staff enquiries relating to admissions and enrolment, you will manage procurement, student records, assessment, attendance and administrating the contracts of sessional staff.

You will be required to administer department and student liaison meetings, prepare agendas, clerking of meetings and drafting of minutes, ensuring action points arising from department meetings are recorded accurately and effectively followed through. You will be required to maintain the student database, ongoing data entry and facilitate the admissions process for a specified portfolio of courses.

Other responsibilities include supporting the Marketing and Admissions teams in organising and delivering open days, events and interviews, working with the Registry team to support the administration of assessments and inputting project briefs onto the colleges Moodle system, prepare the relevant information required for examination boards (collation and input of marks into student records) and assisting with the processing of appeals. You will also support the administration of record keeping related to student attendance.

The Package

This is a full time fixed term contract position to start week ASAP – the salary is £20,465 per annum.


Job Requirements

It is essential you have worked within a HE or FE department providing administrative support – strong IT and customer service skills are essential.

The work will predominately be in and around schools and Academies in a close radius – so there will be no journeys to the other side of London !



 We are working on behalf of an East London based secondary school to provide an interim school Data Officer to support the school and Data Manager on an interim basis until they can appoint to the role on a permanent basis.

You must have strong SIMS data knowledge from working in a school based Data role, be highly organised and available to start work in November 2017.

This contract is paying up to £15.38 PAYE per hour dependent on experience.

The postholder will be responsible for providing leadership for all data related aspects of the Trust including consistent reporting of data, analysis of key data sources and acting as a key member in the centralization of the Trust MIS reporting tools.
