Account Executive – Software Sales – Up to £28,000 + Commission

With the company enjoying great success and financial growth recently, your role as Account Executive is extremely integral in driving market growth and revenue. You will build new relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals whilst understanding and maintaining knowledge of the education sector.

You shall be using all channels available such as Linked In, cold calling, networking and client contacts in order to deliver your targets and goals. Maintaining and growing your existing client base through upselling of new and additional services will also be required for this role.

The role would suit any individual looking to grow and develop. Somebody driven by targets and using all resources to achieve those targets. The company offers excellent support and training in house to develop their staff with good opportunities to increase responsibilities and gain internal promotion(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and prospecting in order to obtain new business/clients
  • Cold calling schools, MAT’s and Local Authorities within your territory to maintain a pipeline of opportunities
  • Networking with potential clients at events, exhibitions and on school visits (once Covid safe)
  • Identifying key decision makers within each client/organization
  • Plan your approach and research each client prior to delivering your pitch
  • Use a selection of persuasion and negotiation techniques in order to maximise opportunities
  • Engage with current clients to upsell new products and services
  • Forecast sales targets
  • Input key information into company’s CRM qualifying potential leads with your sales manager weekly

Our client, a prestigious independent school and sixth form in Hertfordshire, are currently looking for a Senior IT Services Technician to join their existing ICT Team on a permanent basis. Working under the guidance of the Head of IT, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the ICT network and systems, ensuring the ongoing operation is maintained to support the requirements of the school.

The postholder will also be required to provide support to users both onsite and remotely, proactively manage the school servers, assist in the development of strategic plans on the delivery of IT Systems and infrastructure, lead the ICT support staff during the absence of the Head of ICT, as well as deliver whole college training on new systems when required.

The ideal candidate will be articulate and enthusiastic, technically proficient and highly motivated to support the school to ensure the best outcome for teaching and learning. You should also have experience working within a relevant position in ICT, preferably within the Education sector.
