Education Support Professionals are looking for an a highly motivated and professional Account Manager for a leading Education Resource organsation based in Central London.

The Company:

The company is a multi-award-winning Education online resource organisation which provides market leading information services, professional development, and online platform solutions to schools and their leadership teams.

An opening has become available to join the sales team. The Account Manager will primarily be responsible to grow revenues in their account base through increased retention rates and cross selling other services in to your accounts.


  • Have a good understanding of each account including your goals and objectives over the coming 12-24 months and be their central point of contact
  • Build a network of contacts in each account that will support your primary objective of increasing revenue
  • Work with line manager to plan and execute an annual strategy for your accounts so that you are well placed to be a valuable partner
  • Build strong sector knowledge so you have context for your account interactions
  • Work with line manager to build proposals and quotes for renewals and cross sell opportunities. The renewals can be complex due to the number of schools and partners involved so your attention to detail will be paramount.
  • Maintain excellent records in the CRM including regular reporting to your line manager
  • Build strong internal relationships that will help you deliver added value to your accounts
  • Be an effective communicator face to face, over the telephone, via email or via web conference to: deliver new value propositions, account engagement or to forge stronger partnerships
  • Deliver excellent service levels throughout an account
  • Identify risk accounts and work with internal stakeholders to take necessary preventative action
  • Continuously share insights from the field with the business using all systems/ channels available to you
  • Attend industry events to represent the company


Key Requirements:

  • Ability to build, maintain and develop strong relationships
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, to be employed internally and externally
  • Good use of Excel and the ability to analyse data
  • Ability to identify opportunities and, with support from your line manager, take initiative within existing accounts
  • Problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively
  • Good understanding of the English education sector
  • Team player Professional at all times
  • Strong attention to detail is paramount

Experience in the following is very desirable but not essential:


  • Experience of working within the education sector
  • Exposure to selling online subscription services
  • Experience of Google Suite and Salesforce

Our client, a leading Education ICT solutions provider require a Senior Technical Engineer to facilitate client visits to support the ongoing running of their school’s network.

This is a field-based role and as the Senior Technical Engineer you will take ownership for a group of sites including being the escalation point for all technical issues within the client, before issues hit the Helpdesk.

Your main duties will include:

Providing the highest level of technical expertise to all assigned customer networks.
Visiting client sites and working through an agreed list of issues or strategic discussions.
Identifying areas of growth within the school from a Technical and Engineering front and escalating these to the account manager.
Mentoring the Network Manager and Engineers on site and assisting in progressing them onto the next level of Engineer within the company.
Communicating (verbally and in writing) technical information at an appropriate level, and in a suitable style, having assessed the audience.
