Education Support Professionals are looking for passionate and experienced sales professional on behalf of an established company providing learning solutions to the education sector.

The Company:

The company provides cloud-based assessment, teaching and learning programmes to schools across the UK, Ireland and internationally.

The company is looking for an experienced sales professional who is passionate about building and maintaining client relationships, be sales driven, as well as being determined to expand the client base.

The Candidate:

You will be responsible for selling the company’s Assessment application into schools within a designated territory. This will include a mix of existing school customers as well as first time new business prospects. The company sells a successful range of literacy and numeracy solutions, but this position is required to concentrate solely on the Assessment suite of products.

The successful candidate will be required to sell and demonstrate products over the phone and Internet as well as through face to face meetings at schools. Excellent communication and presentation skills are therefore required as is a self-motivated and driven attitude. A knowledge of assessment and the education technology market for schools would be an advantage but not essential. Consultative sales skills are required as well as relevant work experience in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General prospecting for business in schools within your territory
  • Follow up all sales leads for new prospects
  • Cold calling and responsibility for lead generation
  • Showcase/Present the software to schools/senior school leaders
  • Enter leads and follow up reminders on CRM
  • Negotiate directly with schools and closing of sales
  • Up-selling to existing customers
  • Occasional attendance at trade shows and exhibitions
  • Maintenance of prospect lists and timely update of CRM
  • Ambassador for the company
  • Become an expert in assessment solutions for the company


Key Requirements:

  • Extensive sales experience
  • An outstanding communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to structure and deliver a sound sales pitch
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Good computer skills with thorough knowledge of programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Our client, a prestigious independent school in South West Essex, are looking for an experienced SIMS Data Manager to join the school’s data team on an initial 9 – 12 month (maternity cover) fixed-term contract. 

As the Data Manager, you will maintain the school management system (SIMS)  across both the Prep and Senior Schools and provide the management and co-ordination of efficient  procedures relating to school assessment data systems,  maintaining accuracy, integrity and confidentiality. 



Led by the Deputy IT Manager, your role will be to assist in the maintenance, support and development of the IT and AV facilities across the school. This will include the setup, maintenance and support of audio/visual equipment, interactive whiteboards, touchscreen TV’s, data projectors and sound systems.

The postholder will be responsible for AV setups for a wide range of events including ceremonies, assemblies and visiting speakers, routine maintenance on equipment, hold responsibility for the AV store and provide support for the school’s Music Technology and Art computers with particular focus on the production of multimedia.

ICT support requirements include responding to helpdesk requests, installing new applications, updating existing software, providing 1st and 2nd line desktop support, as well as assisting with training of staff in the use of new software applications and AV equipment.
