Education Support Professionals are looking for a Business Development Manager for a multi award winning Edtech organization.

The Company:

The company has been developing creative educational software for nearly 2 decades internationally and continues to grow year on year with excellent success in recent years.

The software is designed closely with schools to enable children to learn and be creative whilst using the tools they will be working with once they leave school.

They are looking for an experienced and professional person to help achieve their ambitious growth plans. Experience could be as a classroom teacher, SLT or somebody with experience of selling SaaS products to the education sector.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To sell a range of products and services to the UK educational sector, specifically, Local
  • Authority, Academies, MATs and school groups as well as individual schools.
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts to achieve agreed business aims and targets.
  • Manage personal time and productivity.
  • Plan and manage a defined territory.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

  • Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers and large contracts.
  • Ideal background would be teachers or SLT members with experience of with selling products and services to Schools, Local Authority, Academies, MATs and School Groups.

Our client, a small independent school in North Yorkshire situated in beautiful countryside and surrounded by 40 acres of landscaped gardens and sports fields have an urgent requirement for an experienced 1st / 2nd line IT Support Technician.
As the IT Support Technician, your time will be split between day-to-day IT Support and Project-based work.
You will be responsible for the daily upkeep, configuration, and improvement of existing IT systems and services in addition to resolving support calls and finding / documenting resolutions.

Other duties will include:
• Taking ownership of service desk tickets and work proactively to find a resolution
• Handling support calls and monitoring / troubleshooting networking issues
• Administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure including Active Directory, G Suite and Office365
• Managing LAN\WAN technologies (mainly Cisco)
• Administer backup and disaster recovery systems and processes
• Producing technical documentation for projects and solutions
• Occasional out of hours support

Your main duties will include:

Assisting in Trips and various school clubs. Secretarial and clerical support, answering xcalls and responding to a wide range of people internally and externally in admin matters, ensure any necessary follow on action is taken and messages relayed in a timely manner. Facilitating various school events, manage post and mailings, reprographics support etc



Key Responsibilities:

Champion the company’s sales and high growth strategy of its key product(s).
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from outbound lead generation to close.
Conduct online demonstrations to schools in the EMEA region, including some international travel to conferences and events, and potential for international sales visits where relevant.
Identify growth areas, as well as develop, implement and execute market-specific sales strategies.
Provide management with sales and market reports/analysis.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and keep our CRM up to date.
Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, as well as sharing best practice and process improvements.
Represent the company at conferences and events across the region.
