Education Support Professionals are looking for a Business Development Manager for a multi award winning Edtech organization.

The Company:

The company has been developing creative educational software for nearly 2 decades internationally and continues to grow year on year with excellent success in recent years.

The software is designed closely with schools to enable children to learn and be creative whilst using the tools they will be working with once they leave school.

They are looking for an experienced and professional person to help achieve their ambitious growth plans. Experience could be as a classroom teacher, SLT or somebody with experience of selling SaaS products to the education sector.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To sell a range of products and services to the UK educational sector, specifically, Local
  • Authority, Academies, MATs and school groups as well as individual schools.
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts to achieve agreed business aims and targets.
  • Manage personal time and productivity.
  • Plan and manage a defined territory.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

As the IT Support Technician, your time will be split between day-to-day IT Support and Project-based work.
You will be responsible for the daily upkeep, configuration, and improvement of existing IT systems and services in addition to resolving support calls and finding / documenting resolutions.
