Content Marketing Manager – East London or Leicester – Up to £35,000

Education Support Professionals are looking for a creative content writing marketeer with good attention to detail.

The Company:

Founded in 2018, the company brings together 4 major players in the Education sector with decades of experience and services provided to tens of thousands of schools across the UK.

The company is looking for a creative and imaginative content writer. You will have full responsibility and ownership of content across all products and services provided using many channels such as social media, blogs, demos and e-books amongst others.

Key to this role is your communication skills, particularly with internal teams, in order to successfully build your content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to formulate the overall content strategy.
  • Research, propose and deliver content on key topic areas to help support campaigns, brand awareness and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a Content Marketing Executive within the team.
  • Take the lead role in the authoring, production and dissemination of relevant content pieces: videos, blogs, case studies, product demos, whitepapers, e-books, infographics, opinion pieces, PR materials etc.
  • Oversee internal communications and employee engagement across the group.
  • Effectively liaise with various stakeholders, product leads and departments across the business to gather information for content production.
  • Devise, manage and implement an effective strategy for social media to generate value.

Key Requirements:

  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable delivering effective communications – both internally and externally.
  • Remain up to date with the latest techniques and technologies for the creation, dissemination and propagation of marketing content.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe suite of products, including InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Video editing capabilities.
  • A good understanding of the English language and how to write content in a different style / tone of voice depending on the audience.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects.


  • A professional qualification and/or an undergraduate degree in English or Creative Writing.
  • An understanding of how to leverage content for search engine marketing (SEO) purposes.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience working within the education sector.
