Education Support Professionals are looking for an experienced and highly driven Customer Relationship Manager for an established organization providing online solutions to schools.

The Company:

The company has been established for nearly two decades providing market leading online payment and income management systems for schools, local authorities and caterers.

The company are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the customer engagement team. Predominately a field-based role, you will be managing key accounts and schools and driving product adaption and usage, leading to renewals, expansion and advocacy across your region.

Territories: London, Herts, Essex, Kent, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire & Northants

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer outcomes through ongoing analysis of data (customer health metrics), and other metrics (NPS)
  • Represent the voice of the customer and provide input to the product, marketing and sales process
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Support the renewals process
  • Identify expansion opportunities (to cross-sell, up-sell)
  • Provide insights to customers to ensure they get the most out of the product(s) – with the aim of helping grow the customer-base
  • Be the named point of contact between the Company and a number of named key customers/accounts
  • Maintain regular communication with key customers about adoption trends, sentiment, and identifying opportunities for deeper engagement

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of account/relationship management, business development or other customer-facing role
  • Understanding of drivers to increasing customer usage
  • Empathy for customers AND a passion for revenue and growth
  • Pro-active attitude, ability to communicate consultatively, challenge and manage expectations
  • Organised, able to meet deadlines, work well under pressure and deliver on many things at once
  • Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation and consensus building
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Formal presentation skills
  • Organisation and planning
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Impressive ‘executive presence’ and communication ability
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes

Experience in the following is very desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in the schools/education market place
  • Experience working with cross functional teams (sales, product, marketing, services)
