 Job Description

We are working with a small South London based secondary school to appoint to their full-time term time only Data and Examinations Manager vacancy.

You will be required to manage all data processes, analyse relevant data, produce data for results analysis using SISRA/4 Matrix, oversee the collection of data and produce reports for SLT. You will resolve day to day issues that may arise with SIMS/4Matrix and SISRA.

Other duties include the administration/organisation and smooth running of internal and external examinations ensuring the integrity and security of exams is maintained to a high standard, responsibility for exam entries for external exams to the examination boards in relation to public exams. Keeping staff, parents and pupils informed with regard to exam regulations, timetables and producing guidelines.

You will work with the SENCO to make arrangements for SEND candidates, manage an exam invigilation team and ensure they work to agreed timescales and JCQ regulations. Analyse exam results, manage JC inspections, ensure policies and procedures are up to date and maintain the security of exams papers. You will also manage complaints and queries relating to public exams.

The Package

This is a full-time term time only (plus three weeks) paying up to a full time equivalent of 35k – salary is negotiable dependent on experience.

Our client, a company providing ICT support services to primary schools within the areas of South East London, is currently looking for an experienced field-based ICT Technician to work across a number of schools within a MAT. Reporting to the Trust IT Director, you will be providing technical support to all staff and students in the day-to-day use of ICT systems, both on site and cloud based.

The postholder will be responsible for monitoring the Trust support ticketing system, undertaking diagnostic procedures on any faulty ICT resources, carrying out proactive checks, disposing of any broken or obsolete ICT equipment, managing the Trust device management systems, installing software/apps as required, performing basic maintenance tasks as well as providing training and guidance to small groups of staff within the Trust.

This role will require the candidate to hold a valid driving license with daily access to their own vehicle, along with a willingness to travel between school sites.

I am working for a local Academy trust who are looking for an experienced education data person, to assist in the development of MIS systems across the education trust. The position will be a temp to perm role (or just temp if that’s your preferred option) and will require some travel to other trust schools in the area on occasion

Ideally you have experience of Bromcom or be able to pick this mis system up very quickly. Therefore you may have other systems knowledge like SIMS, Arbor, iSams etc would be considered. You will be bring data into the trusts systems, trains data users and slt, ultimately develop dashboard systems (BI or SQL would be an advantage but not essential) under the direction of the Director of Data
