Job Description

Working on behalf of a Woodford based school we are recruiting to a Exams Manager temp to perm position starting ASAP.

You will provide a comprehensive exam service to the school, be responsible for leading and managing external exams and all aspects of external examinations in accordance with regulations laid down by governing bodies.

You will be required to provide training to invigilators, teaching staff, and students on examination related matters and manage expenditure within the set annual budget.

Other duties include ensuring the conduct and running of all external and internal examinations comply with regulations, ensure exam policies are compliant with JCQ guidelines and regulations and are updated annually to reflect any changes.

You will be required to build, publicise and maintain the exams schedule, manage room changes, liaise with the SENCO regarding student entitled to access arrangements and resolve exam timetable clashes. You will manage the storage of all exam papers prior to and following exams, analyse exam data and provide information as required.

Our client, a leading Education ICT solutions provider require a Senior Technical Engineer to facilitate client visits to support the ongoing running of their school’s network.

This is a field-based role and as the Senior Technical Engineer you will take ownership for a group of sites including being the escalation point for all technical issues within the client, before issues hit the Helpdesk.

Your main duties will include:

Providing the highest level of technical expertise to all assigned customer networks.
Visiting client sites and working through an agreed list of issues or strategic discussions.
Identifying areas of growth within the school from a Technical and Engineering front and escalating these to the account manager.
Mentoring the Network Manager and Engineers on site and assisting in progressing them onto the next level of Engineer within the company.
Communicating (verbally and in writing) technical information at an appropriate level, and in a suitable style, having assessed the audience.


3 month contract initially

I am working for a local Academy trust who are looking for an experienced education data person to be based at one of their secondaries. The position will be a temp to perm role (or just temp if that’s your preferred option)
Ideally you have experience of Bromcom, however candidates with other systems knowledge like SIMS, Arbor, iSams etc would be considered especially in the short term. You will have great data entry and excel knowledge and some knowledge of these areas; marksheets, core student data, attendance, assessment, cover, behaviour etc
This is a great opportunity to work with the support of a trust central office and as such there could be bigger job opportunities further down the line


1-3 months initially

Experienced HR officer with specific education (under 18’s) experience required for temporary (possibly to go permanent) role in London

Experience working with educators and support staff contracts, hiring process, administration especially SCR (single central register), possibly some ER (employee relations), wellbeing, recruitment etc are all relevant

Previous DBS clearance ideal but not essential at his stage
