Job Description

Working on behalf of a North London based Nursery and Children’s Centre we are recruiting to a part time temp to perm Finance Officer role to start in September 2019.

Supporting the Headteacher and Financial Consultant you will be responsible for undertaking a range of school finance processes, contributing to financial planning, development and co-ordination, ensuring compliance with LA financial regulations for schools and ensuring the school obtains best value and utilises its resources as best as possible.

You will be required to keep accurate accounting records, manage multiple revenue streams (funding/payments from parents etc.), manage manual and computerised finance information systems, complete and submit complex finance forms, returns to outside agencies and provide financial analysis to SLT and governing bodies.

You will obtain agreements for budgets, enter information onto the budget planner and compliance with Consistent Financial Reporting at the beginning of the financial year. You will be required to enter invoices, reconcile bank accounts, enter monthly cash flow, enter monthly payroll from the LA and allocating to the correct budget account, monitor accounts against budget and prepare regular accounts for budget holders.

Other duties include providing detailed management accounts, preparing financial returns for the LA/external agencies within statutory deadlines.

The Package

This is a part time temp to perm role commencing in September – complete flexibility on how the hours are fixed as long as within core hours – the role is all year round. The hourly rate is £12-15 per hour depending on experience.

Job Requirements

It is essential you hold existing experience of working within finance for a school/nursery or children centre – finances within this setting can be complex due to managing multiple financial streams so a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential.

Working on behalf of an East London based academy we are urgently recruiting to a full time Receptionist contract.

You must be able to start ASAP – your duties will include acting as a first point of contact for students, academy staff and visitors both face to face, via email and on the telephone. You will manage calls via the phone system either transferring calls, dealing with general enquiries, taking messages, ensuring calls are directed accurately.

Other duties include general administration – sorting incoming post, arranging outgoing post, filing, photocopying and managing visitor access and sign in.

Working on behalf of an East London secondary school we are recruiting to an interim Premises Assistant contra ct that could lead to a permanent post for the right candidate.

Reporting into the Premises Manager you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, admitting contractors onsite and directing them to jobs, assisting with cleaning buildings, ensuring grounds and premises are litter free, undertaking repairs and DIY projects and complying with Health and Safety policies.
