Job Description

Working on behalf of a Woodford based school we are looking for an experienced school Finance Officer to start middle of November approximately till the end of the year – may continue longer.

This is a full-time position – using FMS your duties will include managing private fund accounts, administering private fund accounts and monthly reconciliation to bank statements, providing financial reports as requested for auditors, the School Office Manager, Governors and the Headteacher.

You will be required to manage petty cash transactions, donations, gift aid arrangements and arranging tax rebates and monies for school/residential trips.

You will need to support the Office Manager with purchase orders, payments, receipts, invoices and direct debits. You will monitor and administer ParentPay payments from parents and act as first point of contact for the school in relation to ParentPay.

The Package

This is a full time contract working 9:30 till 5:30pm starting from mid-November until Christmas however it could carry on a bit longer.

It is essential you hold experience of using FMS and of working within a school-based finance role.

As the Senior IT Technician, your other main duties will include implementing, supporting, maintaining and managing IT services, networking, IT security, email, and disaster recovery plus advanced technical support for desktop, server & networking issues



Our client, a specialist ICT managed service provider, are currently looking for an experienced ICT Engineer to join their existing team. Reporting to the Head of Support, you will be tasked with visiting client sites / schools to install a range of equipment and systems across Brent, Fulham, Hammersmith and Westminster.

The postholder will be responsible for the installation of VoIP, CCTV and WiFi systems, installation of new and extending data cabling infrastructures, installation of AV equipment, providing occasional assistance on the service desk, as well as conducting site surveys.



You will be responsible for selling the company’s Assessment application into schools within a designated territory. This will include a mix of existing school customers as well as first time new business prospects. The company sells a successful range of literacy and numeracy solutions, but this position is required to concentrate solely on the Assessment suite of products. 

The successful candidate will be required to sell and demonstrate products over the phone and Internet as well as through face to face meetings at schools. Excellent communication and presentation skills are therefore required as is a self-motivated and driven attitude. A knowledge of assessment and the education technology market for schools would be an advantage but not essential. Consultative sales skills are required as well as relevant work experience in sales.
