Head of Marketing – Remote/Oxfordshire – up to £50,000 + Bonus

Education Support Professionals are looking for a highly experienced marketing individual with experience of leading a successful marketing team.

The Company:

Operating for over 20 years, the company is a leading provider of international school data, trends and intelligence. Much of the data gathered is from key sources such as (governments, international schools and market experts) by a team of skilled researchers based in key locations around the world.

The role

Having previously led a successful marketing team ideally within the internationals schools or education sector, you must have strong data-led marketing experience, utilizing KPI’s on a consistent basis to inform current and future marketing.

You should have extensive experience of Salesforce and Pardot functionality and optimization as a resource for marketing management. You will be very experienced in strategic planning which will involve creating, managing and adapting a marketing plan in line with sales progress.

Drawing on your leadership skills, you will have responsibility of leading the marketing team to deliver key marketing campaigns in a cost-effective way, removing the reliance on external agencies. You will manage, lead, communicate effectively with and mentor your marketing team. You will have a hands-on approach applying an energetic, responsible and motivational ethos to deliver highly successful marketing campaigns on time and to the highest standards.

The role will be UK based and you should be available to work in the Faringdon, Oxfordshire office at

least two days per week. This is a brand-new role, created to support the current marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full marketing strategy ownership
  • Lead campaign management and implementation to ensure targets and KPIs are achieved for all stages of sales pipeline
  • Manage and maintain marketing data/KPI dashboard and overall campaign analysis
  • Oversee Salesforce/Pardot management to expand all areas of the pipeline
  • Analyse customer and lead behaviour to inform future marketing campaigns
  • Be fully conversant with all key routes to market and their marketing potential and incorporate within the marketing strategy
  • Develop collaborative relationships with target representative bodies to optimise marketing potential and contra agreements
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust marketing strategy accordingly
  • Full responsibility for marketing website including content, engagement pathways, and user analysis for change management
  • Direct all brand events
  • Ensure all marketing activity represents the highest levels of brand quality and integrity
  • Direct, manage and mentor the marketing team
  • Deliver monthly reports to management demonstrating the return on investment (ROI)
  • Ensure that all marketing activities are in compliance with legal regulations
  • Ensure that all company brand guidelines are adhered to

Key Requirements:

  • High level of marketing technical skill (introducing and sustaining processes, systems and identifying marketing tools to deliver, evaluate and optimize marketing execution)
  • Strong Salesforce and Pardot skills
  • Excellent marketing leadership skills to manage, lead, communicate and mentor the marketing team
  • Sales pipeline data management and evaluation to lead marketing strategy and action
  • Strong brand integrity responsibility.
  • An energetic and action-oriented individual who will do what is needed to ensure a marketing campaign is delivered successfully, on time and with the highest standards of execution and evaluation
  • A good communicator and motivational leader who can work across departments to optimise marketing success
