£35,000 – £40,000 (initially Oct 2019 – Dec 2020 maternity cover)

Our prestigious client, who operate a network of highly successful independent schools are now looking to employ a Headmaster’s PA to work alongside the School Bursar and Registrar, at one of their prestigious  schools in West London.

As the Headmaster’s PA your duties will include :

  • First point of contact for parents
  • Read and respond to emails and parental enquiries
  • Open school post and Headmaster’s post and distribute accordingly
  • Administer First Aid to boys
  • Answer the door to visitors and suppliers and manage visitors book
  • Relay messages to staff, parents and Headmaster
  • Manage Headmaster’s diary and correspondence
  • Organise parents’ meetings with Headmaster
  • Note answerphone messages and record pupil absences
  • Check registers each morning and afternoon, and contact parents of late boys
  • Create and maintain staff and boys’ files
  • Manage Intouch communication with parents
  • Prepare employment contracts for staff and manage documentation of new staff
  • Take minutes in staff meeting and distribute to staff
  • Prepare and send monthly data to Head Office
  • Type Parent letters and distribute / letters for staff as requested
  • Ensure medication forms are signed by parents and filed in the school office
  • Book venues for school events and organise school photograph
  • Meet and Greet on parents Consultation evenings

 To be considered for this position, you must :             

  • High Proficiency in English both spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and people skills with good personal presentation and organisation
  • Reliable, honest, flexible and trustworthy
  • Able to work in a busy environment with adults and children alike
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable
  • Responsible and able to prioritise work-load with a willingness to be flexible and manage change
  • Good knowledge and understanding of SIMS and MS Office programs
  • Have a friendly and polite telephone manner
  • A willingness to help others and participate in school events

As the ICT Support Technician, you will lead and manage all day-to-day support activities across the three schools, as agreed by the IT Network Manager or Service Delivery Manager. You will also be required to liaise with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve all ICT support and service requests.
