@ £45,000 dependent on experience

Our client, a growing independent school with a truly community feel in South West London, is looking for an experienced HR professional to take the Manager role. The postholder will take responsibility for the operational needs of the personnel department, ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented efficiently, providing quality advice and support on a range of HR issues.

You will be responsible for effectively managing the Human Resources department including the HR Assistant who you will work with very closely. Providing an effective function for recruitment processes, assisting the head and SLT in regards to staff performance management and development, liaising with Payroll to ensure required information/documentation is delivered in good time, as well as general HR administration.

This key post will require someone to get involved at all levels within the department. A Do-er, who is able to work on a whole range of tasks, as well as all employees within the school.

You will also enjoy a very close working relationship with the head and deputies

Experience;

  • Previously worked within a relevant HR position like Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, HR Business Partner etc
  • Experience building relationships with staff, managing members of staff
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness to stay updated with employment legislation and current HR thinking
  • Strong administrative background including excellent written/verbal communication
  • Willingness to carry out a whole range of administration tasks as/when required

Desirable;

  • CIPD Level 5 HRM qualification or similar
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent
  • Previously worked within the Education Sector

We are working on behalf of a North London based secondary school to provide an interim school Data Officer to support the Data Manager on a Temp to Perm basis.

Your duties will include processing assessment data, analysing student performance data, completing statutory returns, producing adhoc reports for staff as requested, ensuring staff and student records are up to date, managing student admission and leaver data, transferring data between schools and providers as requested and preparing class lists and updating student curriculum and producing school timetables.
