Job Description

We are keen to hear from HR Officers with experience gained within the education sector – this is an excellent role within an academy trusts head office supporting their schools HR team that provide support to schools across the UK.

You will provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support to the HR team, be responsible for on-boarding new starters from recruitment through to the whole employee life cycle, you will provide assistance with recruitment, offer letters, contracts, pre-employment checks, probation, sickness absence management, advisory support and payroll.

Other duties include managing the HR team’s inbox following up on queries and escalating to a manager where necessary, acting as an agent on the HR helpdesk providing medium level advisory support ensuring queries are resolved within agreed parameters and SLA’s, maintaining the electronic data management system and personnel and case files and provide management stats when required.

You will assist with the off-boarding process for employees including resignation acknowledgement, exit interviews and final pay arrangements. You will organize and take minutes as required at meetings, make appointments, arrange meetings and book venues/hotel and travel as required, process expenses on behalf of senior HR team members and produce documents, briefing papers, board reports and presentations.

This is a full time all year-round position paying £20-27k dependent on experience.
