ICT Field Engineer – Central and West London * URGENT *
Up to £30,000 dependent on experience PLUS mileage

Our client, a specialist ICT managed service provider, are currently looking for an experienced ICT Engineer to join their existing team. Reporting to the Head of Support, you will be tasked with visiting client sites / schools to install a range of equipment and systems across Brent, Fulham, Hammersmith and Westminster.

The postholder will be responsible for the installation of VoIP, CCTV and WiFi systems, installation of new and extending data cabling infrastructures, installation of AV equipment, providing occasional assistance on the service desk, as well as conducting site surveys.

You must be able to drive and have daily access to your own vehicle to be considered for this position.

Technical Skills:

  • Firewalls, Switches, Routers, other Networking technologies
  • Cisco VOIP systems
  • Wi-Fi systems – preferably Cisco/Meraki
  • CCTV systems
  • Installation, Termination, Testing of cabling technologies (Cat5e, Cat6a, Fibre)
  • AV equipment (Interactive Whiteboards, Projectors, Touchscreen TVs)

Requirements :

  • Experience working within the Education Sector in a relevant ICT position
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
  • Able to communicate effectively at different levels throughout the college
  • Full UK Driving License

Our client, a successful and established managed service provider, requires an experienced Network Manager to be based at a school in Cheltenham. You will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of support and management of ICT resources, core infrastructure, services and data, as well as prioritising workloads to maintain service levels and KPI’s.

The postholder will be managing the IT support team, driving the strategic planning of IT provision in the school and working with the SLT in the preparation and management of IT budgets.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and professional approach to service delivery and be certified with Office 365/Azure/MCSA/MCSE (or similar).


1-3 months initially

Experienced HR officer with specific education (under 18’s) experience required for temporary (possibly to go permanent) role in London

Experience working with educators and support staff contracts, hiring process, administration especially SCR (single central register), possibly some ER (employee relations), wellbeing, recruitment etc are all relevant

Previous DBS clearance ideal but not essential at his stage
