Minimum of a year experience of IT Support, possibly after an apprenticeship

Our client, a company providing ICT support services to primary schools within the areas of South East London, is currently looking for an experienced local field-based ICT Technician to work across a number of primary schools. Reporting to business owner, you will be providing technical support to all staff and students in the day-to-day use of ICT systems, both on site and cloud based.

The postholder will be responsible for monitoring the ticketing system, undertaking diagnostic procedures on any faulty ICT resources, carrying out proactive checks, disposing of any broken or obsolete ICT equipment, managing the device management systems, installing software/apps as required, performing basic maintenance tasks as well as providing training and guidance to small groups of staff .

This role will require the candidate to hold a valid driving license with daily access to their own vehicle, along with a willingness to travel between local school sites.

Requirements;

• Experience supporting hardware, software and AV equipment
• Microsoft Active Directory, group policy
• Windows 7/10

Desirable;

• Relevant IT certification or qualifications (MCSA / MCSE / A+ / MCITP)
• Apple iOS, Mac OS
• Apple Open Directory
• JAMF Device Management
• G-suite, Office365
• DNS, DHCP
