IT Field Engineer (schools)

Car owning IT service engineer required for a small but established Primary school ICT support company, supporting sites across mostly west London, Middlesex, Barnet etc

Working 9-5 (flexible) in a variety of schools this employer would suit an established hardware and software engineer who already understands any one of these LGFL, Office 365 (O365), Gsuite (google apps for education) or Apple school manager As well as a good understanding of Server 2012 to 2019, windows 10, AD and group policy and a host of server, desktop, tablet, peripheral and AV equipment which you find in any school

Just as important though is being able to liaise with a variety of school’s staff, being reliable and communicating well. This is very much a client facing ICT field engineer position.

Schools are predicted to be fully open by September, and this role is certainly live and the interview and hiring process will be done virtually.

30 days leave to be taken outside of term time! Mileage paid

Our client, a prestigious independent school and sixth form in Hertfordshire, are currently looking for a Senior IT Services Technician to join their existing ICT Team on a permanent basis. Working under the guidance of the Head of IT, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the ICT network and systems, ensuring the ongoing operation is maintained to support the requirements of the school.

The postholder will also be required to provide support to users both onsite and remotely, proactively manage the school servers, assist in the development of strategic plans on the delivery of IT Systems and infrastructure, lead the ICT support staff during the absence of the Head of ICT, as well as deliver whole college training on new systems when required.

The ideal candidate will be articulate and enthusiastic, technically proficient and highly motivated to support the school to ensure the best outcome for teaching and learning. You should also have experience working within a relevant position in ICT, preferably within the Education sector.

We are looking for an ambitious, talented, driven Sales Executive to help them grow the business. As part of their small, energetic and highly focused team, you’ll join them initially as a Sales Executive

You can be mostly home based, WFH, work from home, so you could be based anywhere in the UK, although there is a West London office (Notting Hill area), if you wish to work from their offices. Travel to client sites is largely not required as most demonstrations are done virtually.
