IT Network Analyst – INDEPENDENT SCHOOL – SURREY – £28-32K + Ex Bens

We are delighted to be working with this independent school in the heart of Surrey who are now looking to take on an extra resource within their growing IT division – This  role of Network Analyst we are looking  for candidates who have had a minimum of three years commercial experience working with networks ,ideally you will have some Education sector experience – however we are also keen to hear from candidates who might not have the Education sector experience but are looking to enter a more rewarding sector that schools typically give you.

The school is set in extensive grounds – and you work within a relaxed calm that we feel you will not find anywhere else.

The duties are varied – the successful candidate will be integral to the plan’s and vision that the school has for IT.

You skills will be varied – we are looking for candidates not only for their technical prowess – but also a person who understands the ethos of the school, where everyone is included and where everyone can develop themselves.

·        Provide technical support for all staff within an agreed response time.

·        Assisting with the migration to and administration of M365/Azure tenant.

·        Provide support to the Data Manager and Service Desk Co-ordinator as required

·        System hardware and software maintenance including general IT infrastructure support

·        Provide technical support for all staff within the agreed time-scales

·        MS Windows 10 and later

·        MS Server 2012 and later

·        Advanced level user of the Microsoft 365 and Azure

Our client, a leading education-specific support services provider, are currently looking for a Field Based ICT Technician to join their existing team covering the South West London and Surrey areas. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be providing 2nd line support to schools both remotely and on site, as well as being involved in the implementation of both large and small scale projects.

The postholder will be responsible for completing onsite support visits, service desk and remote support calls, liaising with third parties in regards to project matters, supporting the projects team with installations, and providing training and consultancy to customers whilst maintaining a positive outlook and approach.
