Key Account and Bid Manager – SE UK (M4 corridor) – £50k base neg + £15K OTE uncapped comms and car

This is an exciting role for someone who has solid experience in schools ICT account management, still working at the coal face of schools ICT, but having an influential role in the business and its growth

This key position will mean working with 2 established Key MAT’s, account managing their growing managed service IT requirements across a total of @ 15 school in total. Managing GP targets, upselling, and working closely as a trusted partner to develop budgets, consult on strategy, project  and service management reviews, working with the entire business.

Additionally you will be working with the senior leaders, taking day to day responsibility for bids and tenders on various ICT frameworks, deciding on whether to bid, agreeing themes and working with other departments to produce high quality and viable bids

Mat’s are based in West Home Counties, so regular travel to there and up to Midlands will be required. Car allowance and fuel paid from Home. Otherwise working from home and their offices

Knowledge of Education ICT is essential, previous bid management and account management in managed service is highly advantageous.

Our client, a well established managed service provider, are currently looking for an experienced field based ICT Engineer to join their existing team. Reporting to the ICT Service Lead, You will be spending much of your time on-site throughout the school, including classrooms, providing 1st line IT support to all users including staff and students on hardware systems, software applications and all other IT related configurations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing ICT Support at a 1st and 2nd line level to all clients and staff including managing school networks and ensuring that the schools ICT service and infrastructure is running smoothly at all times. This includes carrying out schedules daily tasks such as checking backup and server re-boot status, as well as providing reports on any activities undertaken and any issues or potential issues encountered.
