Up to £38,000 dependent on experience + 25 days hols + bank hols

Our client, a successful and established managed service provider, requires an experienced Network Manager to be based at a school in Cheltenham. You will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of support and management of ICT resources, core infrastructure, services and data, as well as prioritising workloads to maintain service levels and KPI’s.

The postholder will be managing the IT support team, driving the strategic planning of IT provision in the school and working with the SLT in the preparation and management of IT budgets.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and professional approach to service delivery and be certified with Office 365/Azure/MCSA/MCSE (or similar).

  • VMWare ESX/ESXi, Hyper-V
  • SAN Technologies
  • Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Exchange, Officer 365
  • Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop
  • Experience with server hardware
  • TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing
  • Firewall configuration, VPNs & WAN environment
  • Virtual Server backup technologies (Veeam/vRanger)

Beneficial;

  • Previously worked within the Education Sector
  • Child safeguarding, web and email security experience
  • Experience with School MIS Systems (SIMS, ISAMS, Schoolbase)

Our client, a large independent day and boarding school in Hertfordshire, are looking for a Data Manager to provide technical support and advice to teaching and support staff on the management and development of the School’s MIS (iSAMS).

As the Data Manager, you will work closely with academic and support staff, plus the IT team, to ensure -information requests are dealt with as efficiently as possible.

A key aspect to this role is to champion the use of iSAMS within the school’s population, and provide training and guidance to staff (both on a one-to-one or group basis) on the use of the system.
In addition, the ability to analyse the current use of the MIS and suggest ways in which processes can be improved is highly desirable.
