Education Support Professionals are looking for an experienced and dynamic Account Manager for a Global Private Equity backed Edtech company.

The Company:

Due to consistent growth, the company are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the international team to engage and solidify channel partner relationships and monitor customer service to schools.

The successful candidate will be the single point of contact for assigned channel partners and will manage all aspects of the company’s on-going relationships with their partners including, onboarding, ongoing engagement and contract renewal to maximise growth. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue via strategic account management to meet quota expectations for assigned territories/partners.

Territories: Middle East, China & Latin America

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales and targeted territory plans to achieve revenue quota objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships over time with senior personnel within channel partner accounts
  • Work with channel partners and marketing to develop a joint marketing and sales promotion strategy. Support the marketing team in developing targeted digital campaigns as well as in setting up tradeshows, conferences and seminars.
  • Interface with product team to arrange product training as needed to channel partner sales staff, arrange professional development training to schools, collate channel partner and school feedback on DEI solutions as well as in creating tailored products and pricing configurations to meet unique market needs.
  • Forecast business within 10% accuracy variance utilizing channel partner and customer intelligence, historical trends and current initiatives.
  • Partner with internal operational teams to build the operational capacity over time for enablement.
  • Utilise multiple CRM (Salesforce and Goldmine) software to accurately record and report all sales activity and monitor opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage the pre-sales process for schools in assigned territories through proposals and partner order form quotations, as appropriate. Manage the transition process to the post-sales team.
  • Collaborate with inside sales team to develop a direct sales plan for shared territories.
  • Collaborate with the regional business development team to crystallise the channel partner pipeline as well as manage the transition and on-boarding of new channel partners from business development to account management.
  • Develop and build intelligence on market trends in assigned territories, understanding of teacher and student needs, competitive landscape, products and pricing
  • Visit key channel partners and schools on a quarterly basis to solidify relationships and to review overall customer experience.
  • Establish strong positive relationships with internal colleagues across divisions/groups. Work closely and pro-actively with all internal departments (Product, BD, Operations, Marketing, Inside Sales, Finance, Technical Support etc.) to ensure an excellent channel partner experience.
  • Manage travel and expenses as appropriate

Key Requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in international sales and account management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience in digital solution selling in a consultative manner
  • Excellent communication and partner management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and see things through to resolution
  • Ability to build rapport and build strong relationships
  • Relentless focus on ensuring optimal channel partner and customer experience
  • Sound administrative skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficient in MS Office and Sales Management Software
  • Travel up to 50%

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of selling/account managing in the international education market
  • Knowledge of online technologies used in the education sector
  • Experience of selling /account managing with large businesses or institutions with multiple decision makers
  • Teaching experience
  • Bilingual (Arabic or Mandarin)
