Education Support Professionals are currently looking for a motivated and hardworking Project Manager with experience not only in project management, but also familiar with working with councils and caterers, at all levels.

The Company:

The company has been established for nearly two decades providing market leading online payment and income management systems for schools, local authorities and caterers.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a multi-tasking role where you will hold responsibility for the successful day to day running of between 4 and 7 projects in the England, Wales and occasionally Scotland area, at any one time.

  • Managing the overall delivery of the technical solution, working with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Managing training provisions to all schools, alongside the training team, who will provide on-site group training
  • Working closely with Sales on new projects, engaging with the project sponsor to scope out the details project requirements for roll out
  • Facilitating project kick off meetings with the client and key stakeholders
  • Working closely with Account Management to complete the handover of completed projects
  • Provide weekly project reports to the Programme Manager
  • Managing client expectations on the delivery of project scope
  • Responsible for all aspects of each project, from the design stage through to completion
  • Managing change requests, addressing the risks and impact to the project
  • Creating and maintaining all project documentation
  • Managing project budgets, resources

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience of end to end deployment of Prince2 or equivalent methodology in a business-critical development
  • Previously worked in partnership with, consulting and influencing Senior Managers and Business Stakeholders
  • Experience running large or small scale projects
  • Man management experience, as well as a team player with the ability to influence others and build strong relationships at all levels
