School Administrator – LB of Richmond – £32K pro rata

Location: London Borough of Richmond

Salary: 32k FTE pro rata neg (Term time only role @ 40 weeks)

Duration: 3 months initially, potential temp to perm 8:00 to 17:00 flexible (onsite)

A high-achieving, independent school set in beautiful grounds in the east of the London Borough of Richmond are looking for someone with great communication skills, flexible and adaptable and computer literate to take on an important admin role.

Partly you will assist in the successful delivery of the organisation, co – ordination and administration of the senior school’s day, residential and overseas trips.

Interestingly you will assist in the deployment, communication and training of all stakeholders in a new digital events and trips platform across the school

This role would also suit someone who has experience of using Microsoft excel, SIMS and word. Able to perform front of house admin duties in the school office team, especially in the busy morning, period as well as respond to GDPR requests (with training given).

The full-time working hours are 8:00 – 17:00 Mondays to Fridays during term time, plus additional days to cover Inset days, training and administrative duties.

We would also be open to reviewing candidates who need part time hours as this could be a job share post, flexibility on working hours could be considered to accommodate the right candidates

There is unlimited parking on site (Always be a spot for you!!!), free lunches and close-knit supportive admin team.

This role will require you to undertake a suitable DBS clearance and ideally have previous schools’ experience

This senior engineer role will utilise your 3rd Line technical skills supporting onsite engineers and project work including working with clients on their strategic vision. This role will allow you to mentor network managers and technicians on technical aspects, take responsibility for 3rd line technical issues and regular checks on backups, event logs etc.

If you know schools MIS systems (eg SIMS, Ed:Gen, IRIS, iSAMS, bromcom or Arbor) and the processes behind them but would like to move on from the school setting into a business small enough to feel a real part of, whilst substantial enough to offer career progression and team working, then this could be for you!

If you are able to offer telephone/helpdesk/remote support for “how do I’s” and user support, liaising with both primaries and secondary level, maintaining and advancing your knowledge of MIS this could give you a new career path.
