School Data Manager (SIMS) – NE London * URGENT *
£35,000 – £37,650 (full time) plus benefits

Our client, a large secondary school in NE London have an urgent requirement for a SIMS Data Manager to ensure accurate maintenance of their pupil and school data.

 As the Data Manager, your main duties will include:

  • Checking for missing achievement and attainment data and filling in gaps by contacting other schools or agencies before distributing this data to senior team and relevant teachers.
  • Supporting the SLT in the development and maintenance of the school’s management information systems to ensure that they are operating effectively throughout the school.
  • Supporting the SLT in data analysis.
  • Maintaining pupil records and SIMS database.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and other relevant staff in relation to pupil data.
  • Contributing to reviews and assessments of pupils within deadlines.
  • Assisting staff in the production of pupil reports within deadlines.

To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience in a similar Data Manager role within a school, plus:

  • Extensive knowledge on the use of the SIMS database.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
