Schools Finance Manager – £15-£18 paye negotiable – South Surrey

Central academy trust office requires education finance experienced finance Manager for a long-term temp role (potential to go perm) supporting several schools with accruals, prepayments, processing invoices, coding orders management reports, reconciliations, credit control, admin of payroll and supporting budget holders etc

You will be using PS Financials (although candidates with FMS, Sage, Civica system would also be considered) and have strong excel. Part qualified AAT, CIMA, or qualified by experience advantageous

You will be Responsible for the day to day financial operations of  the Academy this includes budget setting and monitoring, prepayments and accruals, monthly debtors and creditor reconciliations, profiling the payroll report to the budget/forecast, prepare revised forecasts and preparation of monthly reports, reporting to the Finance Director.

You will be managing all financial aspects of the payroll, sick pay, supply cover etc.

The school is close to a South Western Line station or the is plenty of parking and is close to the A31

You will need previous schools finance experience.

The Team Leader will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations across the trust, your duties will include –



Operating with particular focus across China and Hong Kong, you will be an important cog within the international sales team, providing strategic sales growth.

You will be required to drive sales demand through meeting customers directly (schools and resellers) and by managing all sales activity within your given region.

This will be achieved by seeking and developing key relationships with international school’s purchasing departments and with the academic community within schools and school chains.  All with the aim of increasing their usage of the company’s products. You will also work to seek and develop relationships with local resellers with whom the organisation work with, in order to supply goods, increase demand and seek local opportunities in the market.
