Our client ,an Academy in Berkshire, is looking for an Senior ICT Technician –  someone with real ‘hands-on’ experience being adroit in both hardware and the schools software – The duties will be varied from promoting the schools mission statement to appraising your team or dealing in the recruitment of your staff  – hence the need to be organised and well versed in MS technologies.

The Team Leader will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations across the trust, your duties will include –

  • Supporting the daily operations of the team to ensure productivity.
  • Assisting the Director with the implementation of change
  • Working with Staff and Students to ensure that their needs are met

We are particularly keen to hear from IT technicians who are looking to make the step up to IT Team Lead/  manager level- So if you are currently in a role where you feel that you are being overlooked  for a promotion or that you feel that there is nowhere for you to go in your current school/Academy  – please do get in touch with us as we welcome applications from ICT Technicians with 5+ years experience within the education arena.

You can be mostly home based, WFH, work from home, so you could be based anywhere in the UK, although there is a West London office (Notting Hill area), if you wish to work from their offices. Travel to client sites is largely not required as most demonstrations are done virtually.
