Senior ICT Technician : S W LONDON /SURREY/M4 CORRIDOR  –  £35 – 40K

Our client – one of the leaders in Education managed services is currently looking for a senior consultant who is looking for a vision towards their future and therefore working for a company that dovetails with your own expectations.

The role is Home based though a percentage of your time will be in the field. There will be an expectation that you will be able to mange your own workload and plan your own week .

This opportunity -unlike others in the marketplace-  is with a client who will have a defined pathway for you , clearly mapped out so you can , in time, reach the next level and in turn further uplifts in your salary.

You will be attending schools and colleges within your geographical sphere – plus, on occasions, being present at new build sites.

We are looking for technicians with a minimum of 3-5 years technical experience, that shows a track record of loyalty and self development within your various technical expertise.

  • Working at a 2nd/3rd Level of Support
  • Windows Server 2012 / 2016 (and 2019 desirable)
  • Windows 7/8/10
  • Virtualised Servers (Hyper-V – VMWare)
  • Active Directory and Group Policies
  • TCP/IP, DHCP & DNS

The  ideal candidate –  will have:

·        At least 3-5 years’ experience working with Network infrastructures/a Service Desk.

·        At least 3-5 years’ experience of working/managing high end Microsoft server environment deployments.

·        Experience with Cloud Services is also highly desirable.

·        A professional qualification (Degree / Masters in Computing).

·        Other specialist IT specific qualifications i.e.  Cisco, HP or other Enterprise level software/hardware.

·        Excellent front of House verbal skills

You will hold a full UK driving licence with access to a car. Mileage paid and a Car Allowance benefit.

Growing MAT in Redbridge / East London / Essex borders has a great information Systems team based opportunity to further develop the schools data management systems as well as their own HR database systems.

You’ll experience and add to a highly professional delivery of SIMS and data systems services across the MAT, be challenged to develop HR data systems and be supported by some of the best in the business!

You’ll need to know SIMS well, have proven analytical skills and have strong knowledge of educational data requirements. You will not need any specific knowledge of Hr systems, or have a HR background, although knowledge of PS People or similar would be highly advantageous. You also may not have held the role of Data Manager before but are aspiring or have been at assistant level.
