Technical support officer (sims) – Central London – Pro rata up to £34,000

Leading sims support unit in Central London requires a schools experienced technical support officer, ideally with experience in supporting the technical aspects of the sims database, for a 6 month contract (possible to perm).

Starting ASAP Urgent, you will have experience of a range of schools network technologies including server 2012 R2, 2016, VMWare, Hyper V, Veeam, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SQL server, windows 10 and ideally Solus 3!

You will be supporting up to 200 schools across the London region via helpdesk, remote support and onsite visits with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line calls including liaising with Capita software helpdesk and other 3rd party suppliers

Enhanced DBS will be required for this role, although this can be undertaken during the recruitment process.

PAYE rate £16.66 to £17.44ph plus enhanced holiday leave and pension after 12 weeks

Umbrella rate up to £21.97ph rising to £23.34 after 12 weeks

Working on behalf of a London based secondary school we are recruiting to an excellent temp to perm Finance Manager post.

This is a full time all year round position – your duties will involve working alongside the Finance and Operations Director assisting with all school finance administration using FMS and Excel, day to day accounts, providing required financial information to the SLT and Finance and Ops Director, developing and managing the school’s annual budget setting process, analysing and reconciling financial information for decision making/budget purposes.

Our prestigious client, who operate a network of highly successful independent schools are looking to employ an experienced School Administrator to join one of their school teams, based in Central London.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience of working in a similar administration role within a school.

The main duties of this role will include:

Providing a professional, confidential, administrative and secretarial service for the SENCO including collating and inputting data to update SEN records
General Administration, arranging meetings, producing letters, creating reports and student tracking
Assisting with school events including Parents Evening
Providing reception cover including answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
Corresponding with parents and staff when necessary, via the SIMS database messaging service.
Assisting with Attendance (checking registers/following up absences) (ad hoc)
Assisting with Admissions enquiries, ensuring that all relevant information is collected and passed to the Admissions Registrar for follow up
Compiling monthly reports for Head Office and statistics for statutory bodies to ensure the School fulfils its mandatory requirements.
