Our client, a university in Central London, are currently looking for an experienced Timetabling Officer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of April 2019.

Working alongside the Timetabling Manager, you will assist in effective timetabling/rooming of teaching and learning events, supporting the provision of digital personalised timetables to students and staff, as well as monitoring data to ensure all collection, processing and reporting is accurate.

Other duties include working with faculties to effectively timetable all teaching events across the university, ensuring program and module delivery requirements are recorded on the timetabling system, proactively solving issues in regards to timetabling and room booking and managing changes to timetabling data.

Requirements;

  • Previous timetabling experience within the Education Sector
  • Experience using CMIS/Nova-T/CELCAT or similar
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative when making independent decisions
  • Willing to work flexibly as required

As an MIS Consultant, it will be your job to provide telephone and remote MIS support to both primary and secondary schools, facilitate communication between your schools and the company, keep up to date with what services the company can offer and manager your customer accounts.

Responsibilities;
• Provide a one-stop shop for telephone support and assistance on schools MIS software
• Log all queries and requests to the Staff Portal helpdesk system
• Keep schools regularly informed of progress
• Test and implement new MIS products/upgrades
• Support the configuration and update of MIS systems in schools
• Advise customers on the appropriate training and relevant medium of delivery
• Advise and guide schools on improvements/processes whilst promoting effective use of MIS systems
• Enable schools to complete their DfE statutory requirements by holding seminars/workspace sessions
