Schools

Teachers can choose to work in public international or private local schools based on experience and qualifications. To teach in the private or public school system you must have a valid teacher’s license that is issued with your contract.

British International Schools follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, International Baccalaureate (IB) or IGCSE programmes. ESL teachers can choose posts within language schools or vocational colleges.

Teach in the Middle East

The Middle East is a rapidly developing area and is host to thriving real estate, magnificent sights, hot climate, and some of the most affluent places of the world. Contracts are usually 2yrs + and you will require a working visa sponsored by the school that you’ll be working for (visas can be extended).

Benefit packages usually include accommodation, flights, health insurance & education allowances for dependents. With tax free salaries and the cost of living in parts of the UAE significantly cheaper than the UK teaching here offers a combination of a great lifestyle and the opportunity to save money.

Teach in Asia & the Far East

Asia and the Far East have an enriched culture with age-old values & customs at the core of it. There is a relaxed lifestyle and plenty to explore such as wildlife and beaches. To work in the Far East you will need a valid work visa. The relocation package usually offers an accommodation allowance, one trip home paid per year, Cost of Living Allowance (utility bills etc.) and shipment of personal belongings.

Teach in Europe

Europe is the perfect blend of old and new, with a variation of countries to choose from. With a mix of cultures, languages and iconic landscape Europe has fast become a popular destination. Places to choose from include Germany, Greece, Russia, Poland, France, Spain and Romania. The general package in Europe includes Private Medical cover, cost of visa, Annual flight allowance as well as discounted school fees for dependent(s) attending the school.

International Schools Recommendations:

William recruited me for the British International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia over 6 years ago now and I was really happy with the hands on way he assisted with the process. Keeping me informed at every stage over a period of a few months and also being available for the interview day. Any queries I had were promptly researched and answered to ensure I understood what would be involved. It’s been a life changing experience and having that initial support helped make the transition easier. I would be very happy to recommend ESP to anyone thinking of moving overseas.

Education Support Professionals helped me to get the role at the British International school Riyadh. The process was quite involved but William and his team treated me very professionally. Most importantly of all he understood my skills and background which ultimately helped me to gain the position against some stiff competition. My family is very happy with the move we made and I would recommend ESP to anyone seeking a position in a school overseas
