Experienced Education IT or Network Manager required for interim 6 month contract

Managing a small team of technicians you‘ll be able to work with the bursar to deliver crucial IT services for a smaller secondary independent school in Central London. Going through a restructure the school requires someone to provide BAU services and 3rd line escalation with technologies including server 2012, win10, ipads, laptops, Mac OS, aruba wireless, MDM, VMware and MIS

You’ll already have some experience with software systems at least, ideally some knowledge of iSAMS or other education mis (sims, bromcom, arbor, wcbs pass, 3sys etc) and ideally a grounding in SQL. You may have come from the technical route (ICT technician, Network admin or network manager) or via the data office (data officer, data manager, mis manager etc), but wish to further develop your knowledge and add value to the IT team and wider school



This is a newly created role following the planned departure of the Estates Bursar in December 2020 and will involve working closely with and assisting the Bursar in the smooth and efficient operation of the school.  Specific responsibilities will include the development and condition of the school estate, management of contracts and for the line management of the Estates, Grounds and Maintenance teams.
