Data Manager

DATA MANGER – CITY of LONDON – PERMANENT – (£40,773 – 44,062)

Our client situated in the heart of the City of London is dedicated to making their students the best that they can possibly be.

This is a role for an experienced Data Manager whose role will cover everything from student records to exam results. By keeping accurate data, you will help the school get more of an understanding of the student’s strengths and needs. You will be a part of the data team meetings sharing your expertise and helping to improve across the school. The school is predominantly an Arbor and SISRA environment though, for the successful candidate, they will cross-train you into their chosen MIS.

Your Responsibilities:

o             Maintain complete and accurate student records.

o             Import data for new students and manage funding information.

o             Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to keep everything secure.

               Timetables & Organization:

o             Oversee the creation and maintenance of class schedules (timetables) for both teachers and students.

o             Ensure standardized marking sheets are used effectively by teachers.

o             Develop your own tools to track student progress.

               Assessments & Reports:

o             Manage internal assessments, including data sheets and accuracy.

o             Oversee standardized baseline testing and reporting for parents and stakeholders.

o             Track the progress of specific student groups.

o             Handle school census and other data returns

               Data Analysis & Insights:

o             Analyse data to provide insights for leadership and the governing body.

o             Use specialized tools to set student performance benchmarks and targets.

o             Help teachers set goals to unlock student potential
