Our client an excellent educational organisation that has a real passion for driving student success, made up of a group of schools (14) within their network (mainly across North London) are looking for IT Technicians/ Engineers to make this role their own.

You do NOT need a car for this role – and you will have all your travel paid for– want to know more ..?

The Role:

Join the IT team as a roaming IT technician and become the go-to person for multiple schools. You’ll provide top-notch 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring a smooth tech experience for staff and students.

Your mission

  • Be the front-of-house IT at assigned schools, tackling tech challenges via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Resolving issues related to hardware, software, networks, and more.
  • Explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical users
  • Collaborate on exciting IT projects, like migrating to the cloud for a more streamlined support system.
  • Help build a strong IT foundation by contributing to documentation and procedures.

The Technology:

  • Experience providing 1st and 2nd Level IT support.
  • Skilled with ITSM tools (Freshworks a real plus!). Google Workspace and Microsoft Office pro.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of Windows, Chromebooks, MacOS, mobile devices, and basic networking.
  • Excellent communicator: explain tech clearly, listen well, and build rapport.
  • Problem-solver extraordinaire: identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and prioritize tasks.
